Purchase and processing of scrap metal

Segromet Sp. z o.o. purchases segregated raw steel and non-ferrous metal scrap from businesses as well as individuals.

Each holder of scrap or metal waste objects can sell them to our company by delivering them to any of our three scrap collection points, where they are weighed and their value determined by our staff.

To help you determine the likely value, we have provided a price list and description of metal scrap classifications.

You will receive payment as well as documents confirming waste acceptance and a guarantee that the delivered waste will be processed and recycled in a manner consistent with applicable requirements of the EU environmental law.

Pursuant to the requirements of act on waste (Journal of Laws of 2010 No. 185 item 1243, art. 43 and art.75a) for waste recordkeeping purposes and to assure efficient transaction completion during delivery or receipt of scrap metal we expect:

• from individuals and entities who are not entrepreneurs – carrying an identity document such as personal ID card,
• from companies (regardless of the type of business) - completion of a waste transfer card.
